Fulvio Roiter – Amazzonia

More than sixty years have passed since 1957, but the 46 photographs on display, 23 in colour and 23 in black and white, capture the emotion of those enchanted places: the Other Amazon, which we may not be able to see again soon.

The involvement of those behind the lens is palpable in these shots. Faces of indigenous people portrayed in their natural environment. Very large leaves bathed in tropical rain. Immense rivers cutting an intense green. Simple fishing boats and patches of multicoloured vegetation. Together they become dialogues of the soul that move and inspire.
